Lampie 2.0 is a pendant lamp with adaptive lighting. The lamp recognizes the activity of the consumer and adjusts its lighting to support this activity. For example: when reading a book, the lamp recognizes the book and knows a bright light is needed to support the activity. A neural network learning algorithm was used to teach the lamp to recognize different activities and adjust the location and brightness of the light accordingly.
