Rooftop garden.

My internship was done at Ideal&Co on a project called Mobiele Tuinen (Mobile Gardens). The project is an initiative to stimulate more green in city areas. As part of the project team I developed a modular edible rooftop garden. Rooftop gardens contribute to healthier living environments and are great insulators for buildings. The focus of this design was to create an affordable and sustainable rooftop garden for small city roofs. The design is a recycled wooden crate with roof protecting rubbers and root cloth, lightweight soil and edible plants.
